Ο Kerry Brown είναι Καθηγητής Κινεζικών Σπουδών και Διευθυντής του Lau China Institute στο King’s College του Λονδίνου. Είναι συνεργάτης του Australia New Zealand School of Government στη Μελβούρνη και συν-εκδότης του περιοδικού Journal of Current Chinese Affairs, που εκδίδεται από το German Institute for Global Affairs στο Αμβούργο.

Master of Arts program Chinese Studies with an Optional Focus

The Chair of Sinology at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg invites applications for its two-year Master of Arts program Chinese Studies with an Optional Focus.

This program is taught entirely in English and is designed to deepen your understanding of Chinese society, politics, history, and culture.

Optional Focus: You will combine Chinese Studies with a second discipline to suit your career goals. Options include Economics, Political Science, English and American Studies, and others.
Advanced Language Training: In addition to content courses on history, society, and politics, the curriculum includes dedicated modules to further enhance your Modern Standard Chinese language skills.

Admission Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Chinese history, literature, politics, cultural studies, or a related field.
Proficiency in Modern Standard Chinese.
English language proficiency of at least level C1 (CEFR).

Key Details:

Tuition: There are no tuition fees (only a standard semester contribution applies).
Start Date: Winter Term 2026 (1st October).
Application Deadline:15 July 2026.
